In Job 26:10 Job says, He sets a boundary for the ocean, yes and a boundary for the day and for the night.
Chris Rice writes in his song titled "Hallelujahs," A purple sky to close the day, I wade the surf where dolphins play, the taste of salt, the dance of waves, and my soul wells up with hallelujahs.
We saw that so clearly several months ago when we were privileged to sing for the 2006 National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores, AL. As we walked down the beach, played in the waves and actually saw some dolphins playing it reminded me of the awesomeness of my Creator.
We had a wonderful time at the festival and was able to share the gospel through music and puppets there on the fairway several times during that weekend.
That's just one of the many opportunities we had during 2006 to minister. We would like to thank the pastors and churches that allow us to come and share the ministry God has given us.
We decided after a very busy 2006 to take a few months off to allow God to show us direction for this ministry and our lives. God has answered prayers and shown His Mighty Power and Love these past several months. I love to see God work in the lives of His children and show us things we have never seen before or maybe we just forgot in the hustle and bustle of life.
We do have lots of things happpening in 2007. In May, Heath will marry Paige Hoksbergen from Iowa. God has lead them to live here in Hopkinsville and is providing everything they need. Heath has bought a house in Gracey and is working with Frankie Dudas Builders as their Assistant Superintendent.
Ray and I will be grandparents for the first time in August 2007 (YEA!). Our daughter Stephanie and her husband Andy are expecting a baby. We found out in March that we are having a little girl. We are so excited about this happy event and are thankful to God for allowing us the awesome opportunity to be grandparents. That is a big responsibility, we will certainly have to trust Him with that.
God has blessed Matt's new buisness which has taken off and is keeping him extremely busy these days. Wendy is still with Alpha Alternative working in the schools teaching abstinence education. Something that is desperately needed these days. God is truely working in their lives, answering prayers and taking care of them; and they are learning to trust Him more and more each day.
Last year in 2006 I read the Bible through and God taught me so much and revealed to me things I had never seen before. I would like to challenge you to do the same this year.
One thing God emphasized to me over and over is that every soul is precious and needs His forgiveness. That's what The Wilsons want to share through our lives and our concerts. We want every precious soul to know God's love, forgiveness and peace.
In His love, Gay Wilson
